My experience with JetBlue goes back almost two decades. When my son was born in 1988 there wasn’t much help in dealing with his severe peanut/tree nut allergies. We felt we could not fly safely with him because none of the airlines were willing to let us pre board to clean and they refused to hold back on serving nuts. They wouldn’t even make an announcement asking passengers to refrain from eating nuts around us.
We were so afraid to fly with him that on two different occasions we booked sleeper cars on the train from New Jersey to Florida so we could have peace of mind. When our son was around ten years old we discovered JetBlue and from then on our airline travel became a pleasure. The difference in JetBlue’s attitude towards passengers with food allergies was such a joy to our family. They always accommodated any request we made. From the moment we booked our trips to the moment we settled into our seats we felt secure that everything was done to ensure we had a safe flight.
I am happy to tell you all that my son is now a strong, successful thirty year old man. He and his wife know they can fly JetBlue with confidence. Jet Blue will always be our family’s airline.
