I was so appreciative that when I booked my tickets I was able to tick off that “a member of our party has a nut allergy”, as I am allergic to peanuts.
There was no face-to-face check in at the airport. EasyJet has you do everything by touch screen panels. I was impressed that when I boarded the plane ,a member of cabin crew came to check with me as my seat number was linked to the allergy alert.
They took the time to double check which nuts I was allergic to, and asked if they needed to make an announcement. Since nothing in their onboard catalogue of snacks contains peanuts, I said it wasn’t necessary. The same good practice happened on the return flight, except they played the announcement on behalf of another passenger.
