After flying with SW for majority of my traveling life, I am so disappointed and shocked that I have to ditch them and try a different airlines.

Never Flying Southwest again!

SW flight 653, MDW + ORF,7/25/2022

The Southwest (SW) flight attendant told me point blank that she would NOT announce that I have a severe peanut allergy and dismissed me by saying “You have your epipen, you’ll be fine”.

As a loyal SW flyer, & someone who has had to use the epipen in the AIR. I was shocked at this response.. I understand they cannot tell people what they can and cannot eat on a plane, I was only asking to make an announcement so that they are aware. I was never asking them to ask people NOT to eat peanuts.

After denying my request multiple times, the flight attendant then turned AWAY from me to talk yo someone else. When I tried to talk to her again she nodded her head and signaled for me to keep walking so the rest of the passengers could get on.  She never spoke to me or acknowledged me again, not even when I was leaving the plane. I’m so disappointed in Southwest.
