After flying with SW for majority of my traveling life, I am so disappointed and shocked that I have to ditch them and try a different airlines.

NEVER Flying SouthWest Again!!!

On 7/25/2022 Southwest Air flight 653, MDW + ORF, a flight attendant told me she would NOT announce to others that I had a severe peanut allergy. She went on to further dismiss my concerns by saying, “You have your EpiPen, you’ll be fine.”

I was a loyal SW flyer, and in addition I have been in a situation where I have used my epipen in the AIR. I fully understand they cannot tell people what they can and cannot eat on a plane. I was merely asking to make an announcement so that others around me could made be aware. That is all I asked for.

After denying my simple request multiple times, the flight attendant then turned AWAY from me to talk to someone else. When I tried to talk to her again, she nodded her head and signaled for me to keep walking so the rest of the passengers could get on. She never once spoke to me again, not even when I was leaving.
I’m so disappointed in Southwest Air. I was so SHOCKED because they had always respected my allergy in the past.
