Jet Blue noted I had an allergy on my boarding pass, and I was able to be-board to and from Boston in July 2023 with no issues!
I checked in at the gate both times and the staff were super helpful. Going to Boston, I was called to the gate and able to board way before everyone else, so I had plenty of time to wipe down my seat. They did not create a buffer zone, but the flight was empty, and I had a row to myself, and no one ate any food so I was okay.
Going back from Boston, they did not call my name to the gate, but when I checked in, they told me to board when they called those with disabilities, and I did. I was still able to wipe down my seat with plenty of time. This time, they created a buffer zone (I didn’t ask for it, they just did it. I wasn’t sure what the protocol was, I just said I have severe nut allergies when I checked in.)
I was glad they created a buffer zone on the way back as I saw my seat mate had brought peanuts but after the announcement she did not eat and didn’t seem bothered. Overall, a great experience!!
