We are flying from Nashville to Boston today via Southwest Air. We were denied the ability to pre-board upon check in.
The agent apologized and then told us that preboard is “reserved for disabilities like wheelchairs.” We will not be allowed to pre-board. Southwest needs to understand that just because it is invisible does NOT make food allergy any less of a disability. We should not have to negotiate fair policies on a crew to crew basis.
