Flew roundtrip with my two adult children on Delta on May 6 and May 13 2023 between LAX and JFK. Both of them are anaphylactic to peanuts and tree nuts. The crew gave us a consistent experience on both legs of the trip.
The gate crew acknowledged that they already knew we had allergies. They allowed us to pre-board.
Flight crew told us that they don’t have any peanuts but they do have almonds and would that be a problem for us? Asked us if our allergies were airborne. When we said no, they replied that they will give us a three row buffer which was fine with us.
All crew members were very pleasant when interacting. Came across as genuinely wanting to help.
