Also, it was so important for Delta to recognize the seriousness of this potentially life threatening allergy by making an announcement at the beginning of the flight that they would not be serving peanuts. This was also done on our return flight. I did not hear any protests from any of the passengers but I did hear an elderly woman two rows in front of us ask for peanuts. She was not given any of course but it shows that you can’t always count on people hearing the announcement. You still must remain vigilant about what is going on around you! I would like to thank Delta from the bottom of my heart for taking steps to keep my daughters safe. Keep up the good work and know that even more could be done to make flying even more safe for those with allergies.
