On 4/11/2026 Orlando to Chicago, the United staff allowed us to preboard without issue.
When we walked on and mentioned our nut allergy, there was no hesitation—they immediately said they would make an announcement.
The announcement went above and beyond. They asked passengers to keep any nuts contained in bags and confirmed that no nuts would be circulated or sold on the flight.
Bravo United Airlines!!!!
It brought tears to my eyes, and my two kids with severe nut allergies were all smiles. Most importantly, they now feel comfortable flying.
