My peanut allergic daughter flew Delta 7/6/18 with my husband. Despite notifying Delta of her peanut allergy, peanuts were served.
My daughter was seated halfway back in the plane and peanuts were served to the front half of the plane. Once my husband saw they were serving the peanuts, he reminded the flight attendant who apologized and ceased handing them out. My daughter put on her dust mask for the remainder of the flight. I contacted Delta via twitter and gave flight number and name.
The Delta representative said the issue would be looked into. I didn’t hear back until days later when a new Delta representative contacted me via Twitter and asked if my issue had been resolved yet. My main concern was how this happened. I have no resolution for that issue. My family was not offered pre-board to wipe down area, a buffer zone nor an announcement that a peanut allergic individual was aboard the aircraft. The return flight was on another carrier.
